Non Attendances

Unfortunately we had a total of 51 patients missed appointments in September 2024 which has resulted in 13 hours of wasted appointment time. Missed appointments cause the waiting times for an appointment to be much longer than necessary.

Patients will be removed from the practice list if they continue to miss appointments.

You can cancel your appointments by phone, email or by using your online services app.

National data opt-out

The national data opt-out was introduced on 25 May 2018, enabling patients to opt out from the use of their data for research or planning purposes, in line with the recommendations of the National Data Guardian in her Review of Data Security, Consent and Opt-Outs

Patients can view or change their national data opt-out choice at any time by using the online service at www.nhs.uk/your-nhs-data-matters or by calling 0300 3035678.

By 2020 all health and care organisations are required to be compliant with the national data opt-out policy. NHS Digital and Public Health England are already compliant and are applying national data opt-outs.

Your Test Results

discussing_x-ray2Test results can be obtained by telephone. Please allow at least 5 working days for Urine/Blood Tests, 10 working days for x-rays/ultrasound. Smear Test results are sent directly to the patient by post usually within 6 weeks.

Please call Monday - Thursday between 8.30am and 2:30pm to enquire about your test results. We have a dedicated results line available at these times which you can access by selecting option 3 when you call.

Note that the practice has a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection and we will only release test results to the person to whom they relate unless that person has given prior permission for the release of this data or they are not capable of understanding the results.

It is your responsibility to check your results and to make an appointment to discuss them with your doctor or Nurse if you are advised to do so.
